STEP 1

Once we receive your offer letter we’ll verify you with your future employer. On acknowledgement of employment you’ll be able to access to 25% of your first 3 months salary before starting your job.

STEP 2

Shop on our marketplace

We’ve partnered up with various service providers and retailers. You can shop online on our marketplace or request that we pay a non listed vendor directly on your behalf.

How it works

CareerStarter is a new alternative for covering expenses when you enter a new job. Things like:

Travel expenses

Living expenses

Relocation expenses

Rental

Transport expenses

Work clothing

STEP 3

Reimbursement of funds

You will only start paying back once you’ve started working and only pay back what you’ve taken. There is no interest, admin or any other hidden fees.

Collection happens over 3 to 6 months via a payroll deduction, which can be shortened or extended via CareerStarter's app.

STEP 4

A new way to build credit

Every payment is reported to the three major credit bureaus, contributing to a positive payment history and ultimately enhancing your credit score. By improving your score, you can potentially save thousands of rands when you make future credit purchases, whether it’s a home, car or any big ticket item on credit.
